May Work Retreat with Arinna Weisman
May 17 - May 22, 2019
The May Work Retreat is a wonderful opportunity to co-create a center and at the same time build community and the deepening of our practice. We will train in awareness of what the body is doing and also acknowledge the gift of energy we are giving and how this opens the heart and mind and can bring joy into being. Last year we began preparing for accessible rooms and a path so the center could serve more of our community. We will now work on some of the trailers that have become uninhabitable and do some permaculture landscaping. On this retreat there will be several periods through the day that the community is asked to meditate in the zendo to balance our energies and there will be periods of silence during the day. There will be guidance in mindfulness and loving kindness, group sharing and dharma talks.
